not if I had it haha.
ohhh yeah. Would not be cheap.
I've never heard of such a thing? It's in a small unincorporated community on our west coast (which, I had never heard of before), so that should mean you can pretty much do whatever you want. What I would do anyway is build a house at the front, near the water, and just leave the forested portion out back as is. Harvest trees as the growth cycle can replenish. Maybe built a tree house or a tiny cabin in the middle of it to camp out on a nice summer night.

One of the pin oaks I planted about twenty years ago is loaded with acorns this year.

This is the tree that was a reject from Lowes for like 6 bucks. It couldn't stand up on its own and had a rebar brace for three years.

I was going to cut the lower branches off so I could go by withe the lawnmower without pushing them out of the way but I'll leave them be for now. Not cutting the lawn anytime soon anyway.
Yeah, my garden now takes up the majority of my front yard.

Put up another 200 bales of hay in the barn for my wife’s horses. All set for the winter now. Everything went smooth this morning. Asked them to bring it early because it was getting hot today. So they got here around 7:45. Done by 9. Workout to say the least. But good positioning of the elevator made it go smoothly.

Then decided to take the day off. Youngest was going to be gone for 4-5 hours, so took my wife out to lunch. Restaurant right down on the river where you can eat outside and look out over the river. Good food, relaxing time. And did it get hot later. Stayed inside most of the time. Had 90 for a long while. Two cold ones with the neighbors before dinner. A good day.

Glad you had a good day Gas. Nice job on the hay. Do you store grain for the horses and or chickens, and if so do take precautions from bugs?

Yes on grain. Kept in large metal bin with tight fitting lid. No bug or rodent problems.
