LOL I've thought about it as I've worked with these guys for 22 years... I'll need a cant hook next time I'm bucking rounds from this spot. They're piled up on top of a boulder with more rocks in the way. Have to buck as far as I can, then roll them somehow. Real heavy sumbirches as they lay.

 

I would never do that to Eric unless he gave me the okay. If anything id load the PU and drop wood at his house. Besides its a half hour one way.

Really??? No BS? Her daughter and SIL live in East Haddam right near Hurd state park. I still have a load of down, dead and storm clean up BL to harvest there. We went swimming in Salmon river earlier this month. Do you know the exact location? Im game to hoard any wood in that area when there visiting. Trying to accumulate some cordage there. BL a plus of course.

 

Not an exact locale. She mentioned the Salmon River boat launch area on Rt 149 out of East Haddam center. The boat launch on the Ct River.
Sections of that road are non scroungable
