My printer/scanner is older, from Windows 7 days. Some updates breaks it. But I either just have to re-enter the wifi password or update the driver. For as little as I use the device these days, not a big deal to me.

I run Arch Linux on my main PC, it does also have Windows on it but I only boot into Windows to play Flight Sim 2020 as my yoke, throttle & pedals have issues working under linux. Have Linux Mint on our other computers.

It seems to all pass by and go around me. Sometimes it gets right up to us and dissipates. We need the rain bad. Forget the lawn, at this point I'm watering trees to keep them alive.

Same here. For about an hour I was hearing impressive thunder from different directions. The radar showed I was getting a decent rain. But in reality, I got a sprinkle - just enough to cause some dripping off my metal roof. I don't water my lawn, but have been watering one of my gardens every other day for 2 months. I keep it watered mainly for the Japanese maple. All the rest of my gardens are holding their own, but the lack of blooms tells me they are suffering. The crabapple is all but completely defoliated at this point and the huge rhodies out front have leaves that are turning yellow.

My crab apple produced almost no fruit, this year. The Cherry trees produced zero fruit. I miss not being
able to eat choke cherries in August.

Bogieb, Did your crab apple produce any fruit?

I am waiting for ripe plums, peaches, pares, and apples. Blackberries are down I haven't a clue about other stuff.

No, it barely even had flowers. It has been hard pressed the last 3 years - we just barely got out of the drought of 2020 by the fall of 2021.

90* yesterday and still 71* right now. Supposed to be in the 90's again today. We did get a break over the weekend and had highs in the mid 80's with lows in the lower 60's so was able to open windows and get the house cooled off during early morning hours.

Did see a post on my FB memories from a couple years back where I had my first fire of the season in the P43 on August 29, 2017 but it looks like at least a couple more weeks if not longer this year..
