    So this pile was sitting in a front yard near the community centre in our town, I asked a year ago if I could have it and they said that someone else already had their name on it. I knocked on the door twice since and they gave into my persistence lol! Well, I couldn’t just let it rot there! I did end up having to pay $100 for it, but I estimate there is around 6-7 facecord. Some were ugly but the majority was easy to cut. I am really getting the hang of sharpening now and watching my 500i pull itself through this crazy hard wood was quite satisfying!

    This all contributes to year 3 of my plan :) cheers!

    Idve been persisitant too, but being cheap i wouldnt have paid for it. HL is great firewood. Common yard/landscape tree around here. Never have seen one in the wild.

    That particular trunk yes it was "needed". That was the largest ive ever cut into. Rare scrounge here.
