I havent looked at facebook for free wood in a long time this is a good 45 min drive which i used to do all the time but now im spoiled rotten and have ideal local hook ups but id me more than happy to drive that with a box truck for this score…prayin she messages me back soon but probably missed out cant see how old the post is

Judging by the size id say they are still there too. Average hoarders dont touch big logs IME. Looks like hedge/osage orange? Did it say the species. Yes id say lots of noodling to harvest those.

Im gonna go with a 28 in bar cut them to size then switch out the bar for a 20 and noodle with more speed less friction..idk im new at this but i like noodling with a shorter bar it seems more powerful and obviously more agile easier to move around with which helps when your surrounded by logs

That easily takes the cake for the largest Osage orange tree I’ve ever seen… Even from my limited experience with it I KNOW that’s some heavy stuff too.
