Is it just me or are her eyes are saying “Spin me around so I can look at those stacks!” Our first spent a bit of time in the NICU…definitely taxing but hopefully you’re in the clear. I’m no doctor but she looks content and healthy in that pic! Congrats!
Somehow missed this thread. Yeah yard sugar maple is gnarly and has me cursing its weight. Better off noodling it to split size. Only positive is the wood is denser so more btu's. Love me a primo straight one growing in the woods as they make some nice splits. Urban SM was a common scrounge for me years back as id take the logs as is. Id leave the trunk of course.
