They're going for over 500 at the dealers shops here. (530) The last husky I bought was in 84. It's still going strong for being from the line of "turds".......
The price has got to be right for you, but I’ve had one for almost 20 years, cut hundreds of face cord with it, and had only minor repairs/maintenance (changed the oiler, sprocket/clutch drum, new rear handle after taking a tumble down the road, replacing the top handle now after getting broke between big limb and tree trunk!) Yes, it’s no pro grade saw, but it owes me nothing!
I’m not a fan of the 4 series Husky’s. That’s not to say it wouldn’t serve you well. My #1 concern would be warranty if it’s a “new” saw. Should something be wrong, I think you’d be out of pocket to fix it.
