I looked at Harbor Freight but I need bigger, it's for wind for the chickens, and I think if I try to put two together the wind will get through and also tatter those edges.

I was trying to think of how you could fasten the two edges together so they wouldn't flap against each other but I can't think of anything.

10 x 18 would cover it, but I was hoping for a an extra foot or two on each edge to put big rocks on to lessen the constant pulling on the grommets if he ropes/stakes it.

Thanks, afraid I don't, just one from here on FHC which would be shipping....

I asked if we could use the large canvas Army tent we bought in 1991, it would cover everything! "um, no" lol.

Do you know anyone in the outdoor sign business? A lot of them are just a large tarp and super heavy duty. I have one here that my dad scored but have never used it, saving for the right moment. You could just cut it to whatever size you need.

Thank you, I finally go it ordered, that pesky budget thing....

Anyway husband was shocked it was poly blend, assumed it would be duck cotton like our army tent. Nope, not at today's prices.

I do not have suggestions, just a little story about waxed canvas tarps. We had this one discount store, you know the ones that get lots of merchandise that is discontinued and sells them off. One time I went in there they had waxed canvas tarps for SOOOOOO cheap. Like $7 for a 8x10, and they had bigger sizes too that were just as cheap. I ended up buying 3 or 4 but wish I bought a bunch more. That is all, hope you find what you are looking for.

What a score!! Husband and I worked at an army surplus/outdoor camping hiking hunting etc. store in the the early 90's. You have no idea what we would have bought back then if we knew better!!! At the moment my particular regrets are waxed canvas tarps and they bought a surplus of chamois flannels. The cuffs on my very last one are falling off....

Any way, told husband I finally ordered it but they all say polyester, but I did find a canvas one for $200 OMG. Well, I was able to cancel the one I had just bought and got the canvas so we'll be treating that hopefully before it goes on the chicken coop. badbob had a thread on here when he washed his old duster coat and re-waxed it, I need to look that up.
