Watched the weather last night while it was "raining". The weather report shows we've had 4 days with measurable precipitation this month. Wish I'd thought to take a pic because one of those measurements was 0.06" . Not sure we got that much last night but if we did, we are creeping up on a whole 1" of rain for the month.

Yeah, really starting to get concerned about my well. I’d like to see it rain for a couple weeks straight.

Basically just keep a pillow close in case I had to cough or sneeze. You can wrap it but not tight. Not a lot you can do but give them time to heal. In my case , I had an atv accident and ended up with 5 broken ribs, broken collar bone and punctured lung. All on the left side.

Wish I could send you some pouring now. Planted grass seed week ago only watered once and it’s green.

We needed it here too, the last 24 hours we received 1.47 inches of rain, I hope you get something out of this system.

.05 in of rain in the last 24 hrs. This is beginning to become a tease. Every day that they predict rain, T-storm and downpours, we get zip. I wish they would just stop getting it wrong every single day. Weather predicting has gotten worse over the last 20 years or so. Wonder why?

Sorry for the rant. My way of venting.

I hope some of those showers hit your area yesterday. Radar showed I was getting a decent rain but it just sprinkled for a couple of minutes. Kept looking outside to see if it was picking up since there was some impressive thunder going on. But alas, that would not have been the case.

And man still thinks he has any sort of control over the weather. :picard:

Reminds me of the saying "Man plans, God laughs"

Just finished a short walk along the Rivers in town. The construction crews are moving along on the new wall on the Oswegatchie River, down the hill behind the U.S. Post Office. The old stone wall, which was later capped with concrete, had broken all up and was falling apart. New one going in made out of large, interlocking concrete blocks. Being done with flood repair money from several times the two rivers flooded that area a few years ago. Should be nice when completed.

After getting home I went for a walk through the trails to see how much water there was. NO standing water in most drainage ditches. That is how dry the ground was. It rained off and on for three days. But I’m guessing we only got 1” - 1-1/2”. Looks like we may get some more on Friday. Hope so.

Time to do a few inside chores while waiting for the grass to dry out. Then it’s mowing time. Lots of that to get caught up on!

You hoarders have a good day. :)

Not very good pictures with the sun in the wrong place. But you can get an idea if you can zoom in on them.
