7900's,the best of the best.If I had only one saw it would be a 7900,their cheaper, faster and lighter.
I was thinking about this in the combine tonight... A 272, 046, 7900, and 064 all share a bore size... They go up in horsepower as the stroke is lengthened... But... The 7900 has quad ports... Just food for thought.. And stuff...
I have the Solo version of the Dolmar 9000, Solo 694 big old heavy red thing, very hard to pull, like a 2101 no decomp. However I do not know if it shares the same stroke length as the 9000.
I like my quad poulan 65cc 71cc better then the 77cc 83cc version poulans with same stroke with single side transfers like stihl.
OK, so help a fella out here.... quad port increases turbulence in the fuel delivery? Turbulence = gooder? Or the partition can act to better direct fuel all around piston top?
Quads distribute the fresh charge more precisely than the standard duals... Like C4F said, many cases where the smaller quad port motor can out perform the larger dual... Just more efficient..
