    Much better, thank you. I was able to do some decent work yesterday. My throat is okay so long as I don't have to talk much but people call and before long my throat gets sore and I have to stop. After a short time all is well again.

    Of the 10 days dear wife and I had off with the plague, day 4 or 5 we felt good enough to hand carry a half cord of wood up to the house. We took it slow (ish) and got it done, but were toast for the next couple days.
    It felt good to get fresh air into the lungs, get the blood flowing, and to move around some too. Perhaps a little less would have been OK, but i think moving around is critical to healing.

    A good friend passed away last night; RIP Michael Thacker. Please say a prayer for his niece; Melissa he was a surrogate father to her.
    57 years is too soon for us left behind BUT happy his pain is now over…

    Please keep the family of Joni Meyers in your thoughts and prayers. Her husband is Ron Meyers, The Wood Man, from Darrtown, Ohio, close to Hamilton. He is on several FB wood groups. I told him about FHC. We met them on the way home from Dennis' GTG this spring. She passed away yesterday evening. She had been in the hospital a week or so, sudden illness

    So my nephew in law turned 40 and went for a colonoscopy and found out he has stage 3 colon cancer. Any prayers for him and his family would be greatly appreciated.
