How did the "little pineys" like them? Did you let them hold them for awhile?

The plumbers would always laugh about that but added a 4th most important rule of plumbing to it.

Went to what was left of the truck of the fallen ash. It isn't hollow; no sir. It is completely infested with ants! I can't remember seeing that many ants ever before inside of a tree. After cutting 4 rounds and splitting what I could from those rounds, I decided to let nature have the rest.

An hours work netted me about 2 days of heat for the winter.

My son-in-law swears by them and now you.
Found out that I wasn't pushing them in far enough. Capped off the hot water since the wife said she never washes with it. Waiting for the glue to cure before turning the hot water back on.
The cold water pipe has a slight leak around the threads of the valve. Will try the shark bite on it again

Make sure the end of the pipe is cut smooth and square. I love the Shark Bites. Have used quite a few myself. Changing from PEX to CPVC pipe or grey poly pipe.

Oh boy, fell off the merry go round after voting (it was at kiddo's old school), landed on the edge on my ribs. LOL, I hope it's not too sore when I start sneezing and coughing tomorrow morning :faint:

I've had a lot of great experience with shark bite fittings. In fact I've never had one leak at all.

Thanks Al, I was all hopped up on cold/flu medicine to vote, she started spinning it faster (nausea), tried to get off, and kaboom. I'll try! Grrr.
