As I've gotten older, I'm not handling the heat as well as I used to...
And least I do come to visit...:handshake:...
When it's 20°, I'm gonna be enjoying the fruit of my hot work...:fire::fire:

I like summer. The part I find miserable is the unrelenting humidity. When I wake up in the morning and see all of my first floor windows steamed over, it’s miserable outside.

I agree. The dry (low humidity) July was great. Reminds me of driving my PU in the heat. I blast the AC and the outside of the windows fog up. I get out and my glasses do the same.

Relief is in sight for the weekend. Looks like you got a rain day today.

We got some very much needed rain early yesterday morning. I got an inch but my moms place (9 miles by roads) got 2.2”. This felt like heaven today!

Cut a bunch of oak that looked like this today. Probably had 10-12 rounds discolored but thankfully I was lucky and didn’t find any metal with the saw!

I swear my helpers could break anything. Our maul we use when logs get stuck on the splitter just randomly disappeared. I searched the garage at moms and found this old boy. It WAS in perfect shape 6 days ago…

Reminds me of my brother. Nothing is unbreakable when he uses it. Dad had a fiberglass handled maul/axe years back and he broke it! :picard:
