Really kinda surprised there isn’t more interest in saunas here. I got a shed my kids use as a junk deposit. Can’t wait to turn that into a sauna after they are evicted.

The 964' Celebrity Summit, formerly captained by Kate McCue before they upgraded her to an even bigger one.
after a long stretch of blistering sunny days, these passengers will have to make do with an overcast, sometimes drizzly day in St.John's. I'm thankful for the rain, as well as a change in wind, as the forest fire situation out in Central has finally improved.

I know....you're talking with a yooper! No surprises on saunas here! Last house had a sauna and this one does not. Thought we'd miss it but not really.

Being that the shack is close to the lake, it would be expected to just run and jump into the lake right out of a sauna, right? I mean, it does have a cedar interior.....but who knows? Maybe some Karen would complain about some guy chunky dunkin after getting all hot and sweaty!

Reminds me when at my old place we had a handyman come in to do some work. One of those jobs was to replace the back door and the sill. It was a 36" door and he replaced with a 30" door. Swore it was the same size. Um, nope, there is no way we would have brought in the washer or stand up freezer thru a 30". Somehow, even though he had to put in a bunch of wood framing to put in the door (when all he needed to do was put in a sill), he didn't realize he had gotten a smaller door. My ex actually paid him more money to go get the right size door and remove the extra framing. The other work he did was also all wrong, so had to be re-done.

Last time I let my ex hire someone to do any work.

They suggested it but he never made it, closest clinic is a couple hours away, and he is crazy mad busy. But, he's had pollen allegies since he was a kid, he's on clariten most the year.

Glad I went back and looked at the communication from Amazon about my Kindle Fire 8 "expiring" at the end of the month. 1st generation from 2011 will no longer be able to download directly off the net. Sure, can move from mu computer to the device via cable, but that's a PIA (did that a couple of times). I've been thinking about getting a newer model for a while - just because.

Anyway, last night I was browsing the Fire tablets thinking dang, I want a larger screen. I only use it for reading but I need bigger print, even using my readers, so am swiping the dang screen every couple of seconds. But, I was looking at the cost of the Kindle 10 and just couldn't justify the cost difference between the 8 & 10. So I put an 8 in my cart and figured I'd come back to it later.

This morning I was cleaning out my email inbox from "unreads" and decided to take a look at that particular communication (remember, I started this whole long story with that :D). Lo and behold, they gave me a code to use to get 50% off an 8 or 10 PLUS $15 in ebook credits. And here is the amazing part - the offer expires at the end of today. It was a no-brainer to access Amazon and change everything to a 10. At the same time I ordered a cover, screen protectors and an upgraded power cord. Since one of those items couldn't ship immediately, I instructed them to ship it all at once and got more ecredits.

It seems like today is my lucky day
