Outdoor fire!

Jubilee celebrations are well underway in the UK. They had a great bonfire at a beacon lighting event earlier.

 

Looks like lots of beautiful nights in the forecast so hope to do this often. Not a large fire, but eating by the fire and enjoying a beverage is a great way to finish a day.

 

Mama Bear is out at the camper tonight and sent me this picture of her evening. I'm jealous!

Been waiting forever to burn this junk. In going to put a feeder for the deer about where the fire is.

Spent most of Sunday at eldest step daughters. Nice evening for a fire after supper.

 

We do this almost nightly in the summer through fall , then get the Breeo out when it gets cold out.

 

nice quiet afternoon. Fire is lit, grill is going cold cocktail in hand.

I would have expected shore lunch fish from you.

 

Shore Lunch sure is a good meal, but a lot of work. We caught enough fish for 3 meals anyways, but it is a lot easier to clean and cook them at home.

Here is one of those meals of fish I made last night which was very good incorporating garden carrots and zucchini, wild rice, butter, a little maple syrup, chopped mixed nuts, and salt/pepper.
