So, my pants seem to always be sliding down despite wearing a leather belt fairly tight. Seems I ain’t got enough azz. The belt loops on the back side are torn offon pretty much all my work pants from using the loops to pull them up. I’m sure there are fellas here that wear suspenders? I always thought of suspenders were for grandpas but I’m seriously considering a pair. They will just be for my pants no tool belt. I’m thinking I’d do the add a button to the pants type. Any suggestions?
My biggest problem seems to be keeping my chaps from sagging when I'm cutting. I picked up a cheap pair of clip-on suspenders on Amazon and solved the problem. Definitely a fashion faux pas...but you never make fun of a guy running a chainsaw.
Good old suspenders, a utilitarian fashion statement for the cool kids. Seems there’s two types of people that wear them. Grandpas and the crowd wearing tight blue jeans cuffed at the bottom, Doc Marten boots, clean white T-Shirts, hair buzzed short, and rocking some crazy sideburns. I used to have a nice pair of Duluth suspenders until my wife had enough of me embarrassing her in public and she made them disappear Men's Tall Duluth Trading Clip Suspenders
Or maybe you can just start wearing your pants way up high? You know, like the waist of the pants go right around your chest?
My solution is a cheap elastic belt...keeps the drawers up pretty well, and doesn't give me heartburn if I have to work bent over for a bit. I've also considered trying a pair of bib overalls too...haven't had a pair since I was a wee lad, but starting to think that walt has it figured out
I had a girlfriend that would do chit like that till I told her to disappear! I guess I figured there were more suspender guys here.
Bibs are good for the winter don’t think I could rock the overalls with no shirt tho, the safety club would be all over me.
Actually they are on the discussion table now. My azz was chewed off years ago. Daughter makes fun of my flapping belt loops. No respect for the ingenuity of using zip ties through the holes left by the decommissioned loops. Looking for something durable, like ratchet straps and vise grips durable.
