:tractor: , imagine this is you on a motorcycle:) I think the "change fuel filter" goes by miles? to put the alert on the dash ? Glad you love your truck, interesting on Hayden, for the first time in my entire life we don't have a fenced yard for our new pup, it's great! Oh, and first time ever on free feeding, I've always had another dog that would gorge even though a couple of them could have free fed. So nice to see you here :)

Weird, seems like people towards the east pronounce Nevada as Nev ah dah. Not out here, hard second a. Also important. Here the first t is also hard but the I hear people from the east that pronounce it as "impordant".

That is a huge savings on gas. I went from that 50 mile (each way) commute down to nothing and it was like I got a raise - and that was back when gas prices were a lot lower.

Those from KS and MS use the first pronunciation for the state. The second is a town near Kansas City. Kind of like Arkansas (the state) and Arkansas (the river) are not pronounced the same at all.

Reminds me of the change in pronunciation between Berlin (Germany) and Berlin (NH).

Unlike the German capital, the New Hampshire town is pronounced BER-lin (emphasis on the first part of the word), not ber-LIN (emphasis on the second part of the word). There is an urban legend that the pronunciation of the name was changed during World War II in a symbolical protest against the Germans. Historically, everything I have read/heard is that all four of the New England towns named Berlin are pronounced with the emphasis on the first part, and that it was simply due to the original Yankee pronunciation of the word from back during the colonial period. I tell tourists who ask, that the pronunciation change was due to the war protest, but it's really just good old-fashioned Yankee-ese.

Or Beaufort, NC (bow-fort) versus Beaufort, SC (bew-furd).

We have Dubois, pronounced DaBoys. It was a concilation to the Indians who didn't like the man Dubois.

I just went outside, stood in the shade for 10 minutes, and managed to sweat through my shirt and shorts. While doing so, I drafted a letter in my mind...and that letter sounds like this:

    Dear Humidity,

I hate you. I hope you die. That is all.

    Go F yourself,
