Must be a front between us... I'm still sitting at like 82F this morning... Looked like a good cigar on a nice evening...
62 this morning and only headed to 80, but after today the heat comes right back. ready for it to break for the season.
The La Gloria Serie R Maduro was good, I was hoping for a bit more flavor. It had a open/light draw & kind of felt light in weight not as dense as some others but overall good cigar. I had one of these today while hauling corn: It’s probably not the best cigar to be having ( for me anyway ) while driving. I got a bit light headed & my stomach got to churning a bit. It was a very good cigar though.
I know I am... Its been a rough day... if it could go wrong it pretty much did... I'll probably even have a little JB to go with it...
I am having this one while watering the tomato’s. It’s got a nice sweet taste on the wrapper. The smoke is a bit harsh not overly so but maybe needs a bit more time but the wrapper is
I dug this one out. Normally, they are a bit harsh also, but it's been a few years in the coolidor and it is really a good smoke this evening! I think I'll break out the JB also Chvymn99
The wrapper on my Medio Teimpo kept its sweetness until the cigar was done. Just a nice natural sweetness not an overwhelming sugar sweet. This was on the inside of band.
Here is the actual evidence! (or whats left of it) If you look carefully, you can see the bottom third of the wrapper is different from the rest of the wrapper.
I am going to try this tonight while listening to the ballgame. I snagged a couple them a month or so ago at the cigar shop in Weston. They were by the My Father cigars, if I am not mistaken Jaime makes the My Father’s.
Tried them years ago and didn't care for them. Probably due to the wrapper? Dunno. Had another la palina maduro last evening at the fire. Good cigar. These are the 90+ rated 2nds that I only bought one bundle of years ago....
