    We heard a few minutes ago that he was awake and talking, heard he was hit in the hip. That's all we've heard so far

    Just heard that he's walking and talking, they're taking him to a high level hospital to get checked out.

    I've had zero precipitation since the 1" last week (that was in 15-20 minutes so most ran off). In the last month I think that makes about 1.5" total. Had several storms go around me in that time.

    Poured out another 1.6 inches this morning. It was supposed to taper off around 2 am...I know it was raining good at 1 this morning. So that was 4.5 inches since 5 pm..till 2ish am....

    It sounds like our area, we haven't had very many soaking rainfalls just the everything at once but hopefully that changes.

    We had been super dry till last week, then the seal broke evidently.

    Just heard the neighbor is back home, sore and a 3rd degree burn at the exit site, but doing good other than that. Lucky and blessed!

    I got rained out of the woodpile today and more on the way. Coming out of the gulf I presume since it’s moving south to north

    At 340 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
    extending from near Adams to Redfield, moving northeast at 40 mph.

    HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

    SOURCE...Radar indicated.

    IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
    homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

    Locations impacted include...
    Watertown, Fort Drum, Carthage, Lowville, West Carthage, Adams,
    Redfield, Glen Park, Herrings and Highmarket.

    This includes Interstate 81 between exits 37 and 47.

    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

    For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
    building.

    Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
    flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
