I can't wait. We're still in the 80's for lows and 90's-100+ during the days

We're not use to temps like that so I won't like it, when do things usually cool off in your area?

The end of September we usually start cool. We've actually still had temps in the 90's in October. On the other side, last year we had a low of -14. We love to go to the extremes both ways.

We joke that Oklahoma just has 2 seasons. Summer and winter, with a 2 week transition between the two.

When it's 20 or 30 below up here in the winter, we wish the change would be that quick.

I couldn't take your winters. I just wish we had a longer spring and fall.

84 on the way to 95 tomorrow.
Took a motorcycle ride this morning and it was comfortable, but not venturing far from the AC when I'm in the house.

Setting on the back porch drinking tea and playing with the dog. It's too hot to do anything else this afternoon. [IMG]

    Two seasons here also.

    Winter and then road repair.

Used to be that here in western Washington State we had two seasons; August and the Rainy Season. Not any more. It seems that every year the early summer pounds us with record heat and dry. We just got over mid to upper 90's. It cooled slightly for a few days and is now creeping back up. Yuck!!

I’ve got a friend that lives near me that abandons us during the summer and winter. He heads up to Wakefield. He avoids this heat and then loves the winter sports up there.

The old saying in the UP was 2 seasons. Winter and the 4th of July.

Heat index over 100 today. Grass needs mowed. That's gonna have to wait.

About 35 years ago there was a July 4th fireworks display that we had to wear winter jackets for! :shiver:

Dang. Take care. Stay hydrated. We are hot here in Okla but we expect it and pretty much all have AC. I feel for you folks up North.

Yes, I remember a couple of them. Just don't remember the years.

After a few muggy days and uncomfortable nights, the weather has turned really pleasant here. A low of 46f expected overnight.

    Hope everyone is keeping well.

That sounds good Dazza95. Better than here. Only got down to 67 here. Hot predicted for next 3 days.
