Been filling up a 12’ x 8’ woodshed I try to cut wood into 16” length but admittedly some are a little longer. With the DR Power Wagon it is taking roughly 13 loads per cord. After stacking 4 rows it is 17.6” average width for each row which gives me room for 8 rows total. If correct, with a 6’ height per row, I should have 4 cord in the shed when full. Only 26 more trips to go. This wood is all pretty damp so is fairly heavy. Power Wagon handles it well. As some have stated, additional height to the side racks on the cart would cut down on the number of trips. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ive calculated about 25 wheelbarrow fulls for one of my cords. 16" splits, 6 cubic foot wheelbarrow. That DR is pretty nifty. How fast can it go?
Had never heard of the power wagon ( other than the old truck ). That things is slick ! I couldn’t justify the cost but if the lottery ever pulls my card !! Gotta play to win tho I guess. good work sir !
It has 4 gears and a reverse . 4th gear I can keep up with it but it’s almost a trot. I usually run in 2nd or 3rd. 2nd is a slow walk and third stretches the legs a bit but not as much as 4th. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Admittedly pretty spendy for a new one. I just happened to find this one for a good price on a local sales sight. It ran like crap when I first got it so I thought I’d made a mistake buying it, but a new spark plug made all the difference. Gets used a lot more than I thought it would. So even though all that was in the "wrong thread".....I feel the need to say that if "it" smells like "Island Splash" (whatever island splash smells like), that might should raise some flags.....
