Hi there just a few lines for today from me Terry Goggin . I have been chainsaw milling for 7 years now i am a one man outfit. Every thing i have is Logosol M7 sawmill L.S.G Timber Jig and the Big Mill System i run 3 Stihl saws 024 and 460 and a 660 i also have a Small Echo single handed . I mill Extra Large Logs most of the most recent logs are between 100 and 300 years old and wind blown down or dead , I dont KILL Trees I bring DEAD Trees back to LIFE. With my set up i can cut a 38 ft slab any thickness and up to 45 inches wide ( try lifting that ? ) I only do milling on a part time bases as i have a full time job as a 46 Ton Propane tanker driver for the last 27 years but timber is my first love. I will try to put up a few pictures and please ask for more info and visit my site at www.irishchainsawmills.com and also on facebook . Terry Goggin Ireland.

Nice to meet you Terry. Thanks for hanging out in this forum with us!
I like the pics you posted with your mill. It looks like you mill on site and then move the stock
off from there. You have some really nice saws and some really nice trees to work on.

I'm still amazed by that monkey puzzle tree......The one cookie looks like a bunch of chainsaws plunged into the log. Awesome......

Beautiful work. I peeked at your site, not only do you make some impressive slabs, but your woodworking skills are incredible as well.

    Keep the pics/ knowledge coming!

I would love to timber frame something in my lifetime.
