Here’s a decent deal…. If you like Gurkha’s… Build-Your-Own Gurkha Mega-Sampler! - Cigars International
I'm not much of one for gurkhas as I have only had satisfaction with a couple of their lineup over the years. But after reading about "the beast" and reading reviews on it, I would have got them for what you paid also. The addition of the excise tax really sux here. As far as I know, the ammo is not subject to such a blessing like that.............yet! Maybe you shouldn't have brought it up as that witch just may be watching!
I didn’t buy any on CB, I got the one I had today in a sampler pack. I didn’t want to buy any until I had the one I bought earlier. It was a good cigar, they are probably good candidates to buy & forget about for a year or two.
I had those in the non-maduro wrapper version years ago and enjoyed them. There may even be one left in that mess of a coolidor somewhere.
I am hauling grain again today, 1-1/2 hour from bin to the ethanol plant so I am pulling out of the ethanol plant and thinking I will have a stogie on the way home when I come to the startling realization that I don’t have a lighter. Well chit.. I don’t want to stop at a store on the way home because I want to keep things moving & get done. I start digging thru all the crap my brother has piled in cup holders & little junk collection bins & voilà what do I find but this gem. What are the odds of this thing working??? Ideal cigar lighting apparatus, well no but will serve the purpose if functional. We have ignition!!!
I got a box of goodies today, now I just need to let them season a bit. I am was a little stumped by this bag of stuff. I am pretty excited to try these other cigars also
Both of the pictured items look tasty. I have a San Lotano of some type that I bought in Weston. Tomorrow morning we are planning on doing up several dozen bags of sweet corn
Thompson’s emailed & said my order with the RP Dark Dominions & AJF Empress of Cubas finally shipped out they should be here Monday I guess.
I’m sorry Dave I was having a Java Red on my second trip, the one in the photo was a CAO Moontrance. So I told you wrong in my original quote.
Grass mowing while waiting for the last few degrees on the briskets…. yooperdave … notice the V cut and not chewed ……… yet..
Good evening fellas! I'm the fella JimBear mentioned this thread to, over on OPE. I'm a firewood hoarder, chainsaw lover, west Kansas native and currently live there, and a cigar smoker, among other things. I just finished reading all 91 pages of this thread and figured I'd chime in, since I'm up to speed. I got into cigars a few years ago. I was basically like JimBear is now. Lol Not gona lie James, you are acquiring a heck of a collection and you're not wasting any time. Very nice! We definitely go at things the same. I bought so many that first year or so, I haven't had to buy much the past 2-3 years. I mostly smoke cigarillos during the week, with an occasional big cigar during the week, but I mostly save the better cigars for the weekends. I learned pretty quick that this can get very expensive, very quick, so I try to keep myself from going crazy buying stuff now. (Too many dang hobbies and none of them are cheap) However, I am needing to buy some more and get my supply built back up. So, I'll be trying some mentioned in this thread. I run a couple cheap wooden humidors. A 100 count glass lid one that I bought first thing. One of those inexpensive ones, like 50 bucks maybe or something like that. Then I bought one of those Havana Foot Lockers. Supposed to hold 300. Got it on sale for like 150 maybe. Never counted how many I had in there, but it's decent enough and hold a bit. I took all the dividers and trays out and just stuffed it as full as I could. I'd like to get 1 big one, but I'm gona be moving to a farm within the next year, so I'm waiting till I get there, before I buy something better. My go to cigarillos are Acid Frenchies. They're small, but absolutely amazing! I also like Acid Krush Golds, Acid Krush Greens, Acid Krush Candelas and the Acid Krush Blues as well. There's a pattern here. Lol My go to full size cigar is the Monte Cristo Platinum Toros, or Robustos. I generally prefer smaller ring gauges, but those Platinums are too good. Yooperdave, unfortunately, I am not rich and I'm about as simple of a guy as there is. I drive a 42 year old pickup with 330k on it and live in a 140 year old house. But I have a fairly decent collection of chainsaws. Lol Well, here's what I had while I mowed my lawn today. Stout little thing, but it was good. Gave me a body buzz. Lol Well, thanks for having me fellas and thanks James, for the invite!
That looks like a good one. yooperdave just gives me crap about being rich because of my over zealous buying of cigars so based on your buying habits we are both loaded.
