Sitting in the truck. Have an eye appt this morning. So came to town when he came to work. Trying to save as much PTO as possible. When he has his knee surgery in September he might need it.

Good morning! I got home after work to find my roadside stand nearly empty. I started refilling and Mrs. WinonaRail took over. I returned to a tree cleanup job last night for a (previously) standing dead ash. Bucked and loaded. Split some small wood to make mini bundles for the stand. Bible study at church tonight. Have a God day!

 

Morning All. Woke up to clear skies this morning. It is going to be hot for our area today. Away from the water it might get to 80 F If the westerly winds pick up, the temp will drop quite quickly. I am headed over to Mom's as we are working on a data entry project. campinspecter and Shadow will be holding down the fort here at home. yeah Blue Jays. they are on a roll. Sorry to hear about the Red Soxs MikeInMa We have been there with the Jays. It is rather embarrassing when they get blown out.

Hot and muggy weather returns today. Chance of rain later tonight. I hope it rains, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Dad's hearing test was again canceled. The guy at Miracle ear had a personal issue.

I'll be going for a walk, then see what develops for the day.

Good morning! 68F and mostly sunny. We had a little rain last night. A guy found me on Google Maps and wanted wood delivered to a campground. He had $50 to spend and didn't want to drive to my roadside stand. I loaded up a $20 stack and 2 bundles. Threw in a kindling bag and delivered it after work. I took to wife's 4Runner so I could charge less for delivery (the F350 has a diesel drinking problem). After dinner I made some more mini bundles and put together a couple more kindling bags. Looks like splitting is on the agenda tonight. I still have rounds in the truck that need to come out before I go back to the tree service cleanup job Saturday morning. So many rounds, so little time... Have a God day!

 

Morning All. I had a great day with Mom yesterday. Weather here is ramping up to another warm day. The evenings are cool so I get all the windows opened in the morning. Definitely not digging in the garden for the next couple of days. Indoor projects will be done.

We went to our friend's house and trimmed/ cut the ditches, ran some errands. Came home and changed the gas tank vents and lines on the lawn mower, with the big fan going...
Need to load up saws and dump trailer and go cut a few more logs, if I can get going again...

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. We didn't get home until about 9:30PM or so last night, so need to dump load of logs, then go pick up tractor. Swap trailers and go cut the big yard. Nap time afterwards, as my days off are over......start 7PM-7AM shift tonight.
