Well, boredom/insomnia struck last night so I have a pile of different types of cigars on the way. I need to delete & forget about CB. I definitely have to go get another cooler now.

I am going to have a cigarillo or 3 today while hauling grain.

Yup! Someone told me a few years back that it's a slippery slope!

With the price on CB lately, it would be easy to forget about it. :handshake:

I found a place that had these at less than cigar shop prices so I splurged, they were a bit pricey but they will be there when I want one. They are a yearly limited production went ahead & got them.

The Gurkha Beauty was just a cigar imo. It had good draw & burned fairly evenly for such a big cigar but I didn’t really get any flavors out of it.

It was part of the 15 cigar sampler I bought, I figure if I find 5-6 I like I will very happy but thinking it will most likely fall in the 3-4 range.

I ran some Perdomos up to $5 less than I coild buy them for on CI & ended up being outbid by $15 when the auction was over.

Some folks just want them & don’t even bother to look at other sites for prices.

I believe we will be having a new voice in this thread, I got to talking a little about cigars in a thread on OPE Forum and told KSPlainsman about this thread. He has joined FHC & is acclimating himself to the site & reading up on some threads then said he would chime in.

Well, I am not sure. I guess we will have to inquire & make our own assessment.

My wife wants to start Aqua/Biking, it’s just swimming & biking; no running. She has been relentless on wanting a road bike, I will have to give up a kidney if she gets one of those. I told her I thought for her first one (next summer ) her current bicycle would be sufficient. She also needs a wet suit, some type special cycling britches & who knows what else. I won’t have 2 nickels to rub together when she gets done or 2 kidneys, let alone be able to buy any cigars.

I’ve been on vacation with my wife since Sunday in Colorado. Brought a few cigars but seems no place is “smoking friendly”.:loco:
Seems odd to me for a “green friendly” state. I’ve smelled and seen several people enjoying their version of a smoke, as well as tons of hearing laughter from the edibles. None of that is my thing, but was hoping to enjoy a cigar or 4 while in the mountains.
Oh well, back to 100f Nebraska tomorrow so maybe tomorrow night

No Smokin’ unless you are tokin’. . Sounds like a good state slogan for Colorado. Hopefully you enjoyed your trip.

The Elegance was a decent cigar far better than the Beauty, next up will be the Beast, it has a dark oily Maduro wrapper. It’s a 6” x 58

Edit : After doing some reading the wrapper is Costa Rican, says it was aged 8 years.

After looking at the Gurkha Beast last night on CB free fall, a 10 pack can be had for $27.50. They were Gordo 6.50” x 58. I didn’t think that was outrageous on price unless a person lives in one of those states ( like Michigan)that uses excise taxes then they get a bit pricey.

Do they tax the hell out of ammo up there also or just tobacco?
