    Whoa, awesome lightning storm tonight!! I don't think I've ever seen this many all in such a short period of time ever. Isn't it funny to be under a flash flood warning at ~7300' lol

    The storm last Tuesday whacked us. 1” of rain, and high winds. I came home to a toppled blueberry cover and flattened garden, but no damage to the buildings. Maybe a dozen trees snapped.

    I got a full day of drizzle, not a storm in sight just dark, gray and damp. Managed to pick up a 1/4" of in the rain gauge. I was hoping for and inch or two.

    The National Weather Service in Burlington has issued a

    * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
    West central Franklin County in northern New York...
    St. Lawrence County in northern New York...

    * Until 630 PM EDT.

    * At 529 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
    extending from 9 miles northwest of Lisbon to near Ogdensburg to
    near Morristown to near Jacques Cartier State Park, moving east at
    45 mph.

    HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

    SOURCE...Radar indicated.

    IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
    damage to trees and powerlines.

    * Locations impacted include...
    Potsdam, Ogdensburg, Canton, Norfolk, Lisbon, De Kalb, Parishville,
    Colton, Morley, Degrasse, Carry Falls Reservoir, Waddington,
    Richville, Madrid, Rensselaer Falls, Norwood, Edwardsville, Hermon,
    Chipman and Heuvelton.

    This is from Syracuse.com.
    One national meteorological model shows 3 to 5 inches of rain could fall in counties along the New York State Thruway, but local weather service meteorologists expect significantly less than that. Forecasters in the Binghamton office, which covers Central New York and the Finger Lakes, expect more on the order of 1.5 to 2.5 inches across much of the region. In areas that are hit repeatedly by clusters of thunderstorms, however, more rain could fall.

    It looks like a strong system coming across from Brockville Ontario with some of it sliding northeast, it might be heading your way Gasifier .

    We did get a lot of thunder, lightning, and rain. Quite a storm that had the Mutleys very nervous.
