So I was trying to start my splitter and I think I pulled it too many times with choke pulled. Now it won’t start.

i watched a couple YouTube videos saying remove air filter and clean out spark plug. Is that the way to go?

Trying to start it with the throttle wide open and choke off usually works if there is nothing else wrong.

Or a shot of starting fluid in the carb with the choke off.

Seems like we have consensus. If it makes a difference I can smell the gas when I pull it.

Update....pulled the plug out (PITA without the right socket length). Brushed it off...didn't look too dirty. Took a look at the air filter...wasn't wet.

Put it all back together and fired it up. Works like a charm!!
