    I've had enough of the hot days...

    I received a call yesterday afternoon. Was asked if I liked all the rain. Huh? I guess a few areas got a couple gully washers. It did sprinkle here for about 3 seconds...

    Good morning! 71F and sunny. Heat continues here like it does for most of the country. Got a cabinet hung in the master bath. Went outside after the sun got behind the trees and finished splitting a small batch of hickory. Filled about 1/2 an IBC tote. Split small, should dry fast. Most will end up as smoking wood bundles. Music practice at church tonight. Then I need to fix a tire on a hand cart. Have a God day!

    Morning All. Overcast with fog. It will burn off in a couple of hours. I think we are in for a stretch of nice weather. I went out and attached the yard yesterday. We took a trailer load of yard waste to the dump and I have a half load already in the trailer. Headed over to Mom's today to cut her grass and run errands for her.
    I think Midwinter is taking a summer break. She is probably out and about enjoying the sunshine. She loves to be outdoors.

    I have shoulder PT this morning. Then an appt to renew my driver's license, adding the Real ID designation.

    I really feel for you people having such a hot summer. It makes Alaska sound really good. Also, looking at T.Jeff Veal' weather, he's had more rain already than we get in 2 years. I've been asked many times why I don't move south...

    Went to a school class reunion yesterday. It was for a grade 2 years behind mine but I remembered a few of the folks. Had a good time. One more reunion to go in a couple weeks.

    It has been overcast this week, especially in the mornings. By afternoon it heats up some.
    Had a sprinkle about 7:30 last night, next county had a severe storm

    Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Another day of 7AM-7PM, but this is all OT now.
    Had a sprinkle of rain and distant thunder last night, so worked in the saw shed until it passed. Sharpened a few chains and worked on the Husky 55, ordered a few parts for it this morning.
    Moved a few logs after it passed.
    We will see what the weather is doing this evening.
    Be the solution, not the problem.

    Morning all. Going to be a nice day here again once the overcast burns off. We had a good visit with Mom and got the lawns cleaned up. The rest of the gardens needed major work but you can only do so much in a short time. I hope to get out into our yard again today. Heading off for our walk this morning.

    I think all the high temperatures out east is why we are finally getting summer weather here. 6 months of rain was getting tiring.

    The string of HHH days continue.

    As an attempt at relief, we're headed to my cousin's beach house. Not sure how much relief as there'll be an offshore breeze.

    It's disappointing that we won't be able to include my folks. The house has no AC. It's too much of a risk to take them. Perhaps, a cooler day in September will be a better fit.

    In true FHC fashion, I'll be taking a couple carrying bags of split firewood. Maybe looking at a campfire on the beach, will make it feel a little cooler.
