That pic is funny...I remember seeing one similar, only it was in the back of an F150 and the rear axle broke in half...some dude laying under the truck looking at the situation...I've tried to find that pic several times in the last few years with no luck....for some reason I think it was a green F150...like one of those mid 90's "sport" editions with the 6 cyl, AC, chrome wheels, and a fancy factory stripe down the side...something like $12.999 brand new.

Yeah weeds and grass, I have run so much equipment over my lawn; as long as it’s green and not mud, My requirements are low. When I bought house it was a farm 40 years ago and horses for 10 before I bought it my sod was ridiculous! Could not dig a hole with a shovel as it sod was deeper than shovel!:jaw: Excavator and :tractor: Cured that!

So I can’t blame Backwoods Savage BUT if he decides do do another east trip; my girls want him longer!! Me too

Ugh! All you need is a bunch of moisture before the heat is cranked up. The dew point is 73 here. :dennis: Crank up the central air.:emptywallet:

I'm not positive as to the siding you're picturing, if it's what I think of as warehouse looking then I haven't really seen it on houses here. Time will tell. It is boxy, I think they're shooting to resemble the old time houses that we call salt boxes. Nice siding and it'll look decent. I like a house that has enough shape to look nice, but not overkill. Well crafted, but not ostentatious. Some people build them with eaves under eaves, wings coming out of wings and just about too much detail to take in. Either they're trying to look like they have lots of money, or trying a little too hard to be different. And ends up being a nightmare to replace siding, roofing etc.

Tried a new recipe this evening. Black bear meat hunter's pie. Came out fantastic (IMO)

When even your coffee makes you think about firewood.

We had some good amount of rain here yesterday. And we needed it. It’s been dry for last 3-4 weeks. It rained so much I lit a big pile off while it slowed down after things were drenched well. 6FFB99E9-C37D-4835-93E6-32CB1B98B8B6.jpeg Got it going good and then it started pouring again. But, fire was big and strong enough to continue burning, and I cleaned up with the tractor last night and this morning pushing it in so it burned up. About 95% gone now.

Hope they plan to have a lawn and some landscaping. I haven't seen much of that in other pictures.

Still on the mend, but much better than the past couple of weeks. Want to get outside, but the air is bad today. Not able to go anyplace with a crowd. Can't walk more than a few steps so have to ride my mobility scooter or electric wc.
Finally got some rain last pm. only half an inch, but much better than nothing. Dog went out and came back in soaking wet. He hates the rain but had to do his thing.
Nap time, will check in again later.

Good seeing ya Gas. We needed that rain real bad. Could use more down this end, though.

Keep getting better. It is way too hot to go out today for anyone. Tomorrow is supposed to be worse here. 96º I think.

I can't say I'm a big fan of an over landscaped look. Happy medium. Do wish my thorn bushes would screw off. They're hardy, resilient little pests.
