I tried to talk them into going with a G7000 instead of the 10, but the 10 was already so much smaller then the CB that they were replacing...plus I was trying to explain the difference in efficiency was going to be huge...time will tell, but it does appear that the G10 is plenty big, even with the old line set...will be even more so with the new one in place...I know they had plenty of days this past winter that they loaded once per day, and I don't think it was a huge load either.
They were concerned about the G10 needing "perfect" fuel, to a ridiculous degree, but that has proven unfounded...it actually seemed to run fine on stuff that the dealer said it would choke on...but, that was just cleaning up some stuff that was laying around...a steady long term diet of poor fuel still might could cause problems I'd guess...still, it has proven to be less picky than they feared. They have a whole shed full of the good stuff on deck for this winter...an old corn crib that holds about 17 cords, if I recall correctly.
How many sq ft are you heating?
The G10 is heating 2 houses, 1 about 1200 sq ft, 1 is more like 1600 sq ft, a 30x40' garage, and a 40x60' shop with high ceilings...but they don't keep it super warm in either garage...and there is a total of probably 500 ft of line set between all that too...so it was upsized to 1.25" pipe instead of the typical 1".
As for the Heatmor, I have heard of them, and while I think they are a fine unit, I would not classify them better than the HM...just going off of hearsay though.

Welcome to FHC Son of a Woodcutter , glad to have you aboard! I too burn quite a bit of wood thru a boiler heating home and shop. Your set up is well thought out and hopefully serves you well. My only suggestion is to buy a decent back up saw, then send that 500i out for a good woods porting. They are absolutely wicked saws when ported.

Great website. Nice furniture. My dad built custom furniture for over 20 yrs. I helped him several different times. Still have the equipment. We have several members here that build furniture as well.

Welcome to the club. Lots of great folks here sharing knowledge and humor, as you have already seen. That is a nice place you have there.
As amateur cutter said, get that 500 ported. huskihl is a great builder. There are quite a few saws on here with the XS sticker.
    Chvymn99 has a 500 he did, IIRC.
Should be a video on YouTube of it.

Nice! Where are you located? I am just South of St. Marys, NE of London. I got the lumber from the Hodgson brothers in Exeter, you?

I'm in Norfolk County...near Simcoe. I haven't looked too hard, but seems less available down here. I called a couple local mills and they process they process the stuff not good enough for sawlogs themselves. I have access to a lot of trees, but i really don't like felling.
