I tore a rotator cuff about a month ago (not a complete tear) and have not been able to run my saw or do a lot of other things. I have been doing exercises and therapy and putting my wife's homemade ointment on it. It feels much better and I am able to most things for at least a little while. It's a little sore after cutting today, but not bad. I cut about a face cord, maybe a bit more, and it felt good to be able to do that. I don't think I could handle a bigger saw for a couple more weeks, but at least I can cut some wood. It put a smile on my face and the saw was pulling hard, so I had to share a quick video. Just noticed...was that a misfire half way through the first cut?

Good to see you back at it! All that work to get to this point is worth it huh? If I don't keep up with the strength, core and flexibility workouts I fall apart in a hurry. Keep at it!

Best of luck with the shoulder. I do feel your pain. I tore my rotator cuff 3/3/22.

Thanks guys. I was terrified when I was told what was wrong. I was worried it was permanent, but it seems to be healing well.

Cool! Take it slow though. Firewooding puts a lot of stresses on the body.
