Dead ash on a hot day

    Took down 4 dead ash trees for a friend today. It was hot! I bet I sweated off 5 pounds at least. Good workout and some good firewood. I do believe I've earned a beer.

    Good firewood scores always come when it's hot, but the beer tastes better when it does.

    My ash tends to be pretty dead on hot days too...:whistle:

    Looks like EAB got to them.
    I'll be in the same boat in a few weeks, friend taking down 6 ash trees, leaving the wood for me.

    Looks like you had some nice wide-open space for falling the trees. That makes for a good practice time if you wanted to try out some new technics.
