If I ate enough fruits and vegetables, I could be 'jet powered' as well. Problem is, the exhaust would be nasty....:hair:

I have been working on cutting up a couple red oaks that came down earlier this year. There are no signs of acorns on either one and they both are mature trees.

That was a busy squirrel! You have squirrels chewing on stuff and I have bears doing the same. I've had 55-gallon barrels disappear because the bears drag them off into the woods.

Send the bears down here and ill feed them my squirrels. Theyve been fattening up at our bird feeder.
We had a bear come through the yard in 2009. Her oldest daughter got pics as it was the afternoon. Didnt chew on anything though.

My brother lives in Arkansas and has black bears show up now and then and they are very destructive. Curious, I guess. They tear up anything that you have in the forest. Actually can be expensive... game cameras and such. He has accumulated a number of bear visits where they check out the cameras. And sometimes destroy. Just 'cause they can!

I was walking through my woods today and found where a bear had carted of a 12lb bag of fruit tree fertilizer. They must be seriously desperate for food. Glad I found it or I would have been blaming a 2-legged thief and would have had to up my security level.

I bet it gives it a real big bellyache! Can't imagine why a bear would take fertilizer?!

It never ceases to amaze me how threads get off track here. I post about a gas can being chewed on and it has evolved into a bear with diarrhea!

We had squirrels in our roof last year. We shot a bunch and it took all year to get them all. There are a few holes in the ceiling where I tried shooting them in the house, that's how bad it was. We finally got them all and now we need to put on a new roof and eaves. They chewed a ton of holes and it looks like our house went through a shelling in ww2.

I love critters, but they have to leave stuff alone. The deer got in the garden this year and my wife told them if they did it again they would be dinner. Funny thing is, they listened!

Sounds a bit like the guy who burned his house down for a spider.

Except I was using a pellet gun and shooting through ceiling tiles that were getting removed anyway.
