    Im sitting on the couch last night and hear a thud against the window, then siding. Go out to check and sure enough the moth. Dont know if same one though. IMG_1410.JPG

    Cool pictures, not the same moth but I saw this one on my breezeway door the other day.
    I think it hung out long enough for me to get a picture. I initially just ignored it but it hung out in that spot most of the day until I took the picture.
    Image search says this is a hawk moth

    Cant miss them against the white siding. The first one mustve just emerged and he wings have to unfold and dry out before it takes flight. Had mine not been flapping its wings i never wouldve seen it. From a distance i thought it was a bird.
