As soon as the outside temp was one degree lower than the inside temp, I opened a couple windows and patio doors and let the screens earn their money. The AC turned on yesterday late afternoon and even though the pup enjoyed laying by one of the registers, I am not looking forward to the elec bill.

Woke up to temps in the upper 50's and supposed to warm up to the low 80's with a lower dewpoint:thumbs: Good day to continue work on the two big downed oaks. I am starting at the tops and cutting up the branch wood first. The trunks will be done last and I am hoping to get it all done by October:whistle::BrianK:

I got a little bit of the top brush cut away and made some room to get in to the good wood without tripping much.
DSC04008.JPG DSC04009.JPG DSC04010.JPG I did get a trailer load of skinnies and got them cut up after lunch today.

It was 52 this morning and I got a bunch of big Oak rounds noodled to size. Dew point is 56, so not bad. Summer can pass with no more high humidity and I'd be real happy. I'm waiting on September already.

67 and raining. This is some weird weather for July in NC. I have mowing to do, roundup to spray and logs to cut. No time for October rain.

It was a beautiful 54° at 4:30 this morning. Looks like I won't be seeing that again for the foreseeable future. I'm grateful to have a small pool to cool off in, especially after mowing the lawn and weed whacking. :dennis::tractor:

Sky is getting dark, temps dropping and the wind from the west is picking up. I'll be surprised if we don't get rain out of this.

Dropped 5 degrees in 20 minutes

The wind ended up from the south and we did get a bit of rain. Not very much at all though.

Sky's clearing up once again for a big sunset.

Only dropped to the mid 60's overnight. A nice breeze coming in the window all night long!

Overcast, heading to the mid 70's and looking for rainstorms this afternoon.

75f with rain this am. The mower has been busy this summer. Hard to believe we are beyond the 4th already. Time do fly!
