A little rain overnight and it was needed but we did not get much. Supposed to be hot today and after the rain it is bound to be humid. Yesterday it got close to 90 but the air was so dry it felt nice and again no air conditioning was needed. Really low humidity allows that. I hope most of the rest of summer turns out with low humidity.

Good morning! Raining on and off, currently 69F. It stormed over night. We're supposed to have occasional showers through the week. First rain we've had in quite some time. All the lawns are brown. Did a lot of work in the wood yard yesterday. There's room for 2-4 loads of tree service wood now, which is good. Spread wood chips around some trees last night and will probably continue that tonight. Have a God day!

Good afternoon all. Cool overcast day today. Not going to be any working on firewood for awhile.
Chaz had a minor accident on the 4 wheeler last night. Hurt his ribs pretty good.
The fire we had last night was mainly bark and scrapes from splitting. Hope everyone had a good 4th.

    Good muggy morning, members.

I just got back from a walk. Nice morning for a walk. But, not much else. 70⁰ and relative humidity at 91%.

We did get some rain overnight. Not much. We're inches below average for the year.

The wood stove cleaning went well. All gaskets look fine. I need to give the cat a rinsing bath before putting the top back on.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. 74°, feels like 85° this morning...fun fun...
Going to meet a friend at the Plantation clearing site this morning to look at the sweet gum logs for him to use for erosion control. We may haul the big logs to the mill. So looks like a SWEET dadGUM day.
    Be encouraging, share a smile.

This guy has the same stove we do.

I don't agree with his advise. I'm not going anywhere near my cat, with pipe cleaners.

Morning all. Another overcast morning today. It turned out nice for most of yesterday. campinspecter got towels almost dry on the line before it started to rain. Our temps haven't hit 70 F yet this week. Last three days of work left and then the school year will be over for me. I have enjoyed being back there.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning! 73F and cloudy, quite a bit of rain over night with showers continuing this week. There were some roadside stand firewood sales late Monday so I planned to fill it back up last night. I found more bundles gone when I got home so I went to work getting it filled. It was hot. After that, I filled out online application to finance the new mower. I definitely need to keep selling firewood! Bible study tonight. Have a God day!

Thanks my brothers, I'll be fine, but definitely didn't do myself any favors.
    :picard:

    A stupid thing.
    :emb:

ATV is fine, bent the front rack slightly, and broke one side of the headlight that bolts on that side.

Checking on the last of the bonfire to make sure everything was burnt out and whipped the quad around to head back down, front tire caught in the old horseshoe pit.

I left the quad fine, but "stuck" the landing on a pine round meant for the fire pit.
    :hair:

Full disclosure, I did have a beer in left hand, right hand on throttle. Not an advised method of driving. 2 hands would have allowed for better control obviously.

Scraped up some, and landed fully on my left side and armpit.

It's ok, only hurts to laugh, cough, lift, and heaven forbid I get the hiccups.

    This too shall pass.
