No need for that. U know we have the most respect for u and ur work and the fellow that u r to deal with. I couldnt keep my composure as well as u do and hats off to u. Chad is a fine guy to deal with as well as he has talked with me just as u have always been willing to do for me.I always have appreciated it and I know Chad does as well. That tip with the piston on the 026 worked out well. I ended up getting the squish at .018 all the way around.

Well I told Chad that I didn't want to see anymore results from saws I've built posted. That was just the result of me being frustrated, and more than a little sick. That damm Brush Ape was spamming the thread, and every armchair saw builder in the country had to post their opinion.......

    I just sorta lost it.

If we do anymore dyno runs on my saws.......I think we should bring that stuff here. AS is not a good venue for that sort of thing IMHO.

I agree!! Randy take a look at this Husky 66 I took apart this morning . Looks like a needle bearing let go and almost cut piston into. Deep gouged the cylinder also 20140825_091401.jpg

Randy, if you do decide to take a wack at it and if it should take more than one try, I have you covered with another OEM 665 C/P!

Doctors are a PITA but sometimes they are necessary. You are the other side of 50 and chit starts to wear out, take of yourself.

I'm of the mind that this saw is almost as good as it can be. There are gains there.......but nothing that is gonna blow me, you, or anyone else away.

If I start grinding on it........I'll probably want to use an OEM 7900 top end.
