Found this last night while browsing for free wood. Title really caught my attention. (click on it and read the description as its even funnier) Turns out were going through the area today, not that i was that crazy about the score. PMed the guy and a quick stop later and the wood is mine. Couple blocks out of the way. Told me of the neighbor having logs in the yard too. Ill check those out too for future score potential. Ill have Ms. buZZsaw with me but im risking life and limb if i ask for her help!
Best be careful with the Mrs. in tow. Haven't even been watching for scores on FBM or CL. Guessing Dennis will be showing up any day now to revoke my hoarders club card.
Hey Chuck, nice to see you again! He was funnier with the PM's too. Its a full time addiction for me, others not so much. How much wood you have on hand now?
I tend to get most of my personal wood via FBM, Craigslist or referral as I would bring the load straight to the house and split here. Since I now have both splitters at Lefty's I need to split there first or bring one home, like I have in the past. Need to get back to getting at least a season more here to refill stacks, just having trouble getting my head in the game this year. Lefty also has a lot of trees that need taken care of at his place so want to work those up first anyway.
Quick load up. Couple small HVBW logs...woohoo! Didnt meet the guy (really wanted to with his sense of humor) but talked with neighbor about the trees he had taken down. Sadly tree guys cut it up to random lengths. Several Norway maples. Tricky access and cant back up right to it.
