Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Good afternoon! 74F and sunny. Heating up for the rest of the week. Finishing up payroll now. I got about 1/2 cord split last night. Tonight is the first night of VBS at church this week. We'll be having fun with the kids and acting silly. I'm pretty good at that. Our program this year is Food Truck Party. Have a God day!

Nice drier air after yesterday's rain. We got ~1/2 inch. Can use more.

I'm taking dad to an eye appointment this morning.

This afternoon, we have a well guy coming to hopefully raise the well pump up a few feet. We've started to get some fine grit in our house water. Our well is 120ft deep and the pump is at 110ft.

Morning all. I think our warm spell is coming to an end. Over cast with the forecast of drizzle later today. Tourist season is upon us. 8 boats anchored out in the bay and the town marina looks like there are a few boats in it. A 114 ft. yacht pulled into one of the marinas on Sunday. It came from Discovery Harbour, CA. Looks like another big one joined it since then. Flat calm this morning so the motor cruisers are headed out. Sailboats usually wait until the wind picks up.
Three more days of work this week and then Friday, Canada Day is a holiday.

Good morning! 65F and sunny, it was cool overnight so we opened windows. I got home last night after VBS at church to find wood had been sold at the roadside stand so I filled it up again. Night #2 of VBS tonight. Having fun with the kiddos! Have a God day!

Most are Southern Red Oaks. They have some huge leaves...

Nice start to the day. 60⁰, clear and dry. Heading to mid-80's.

I have a dentist appointment later this morning. I'll be for a walk before and, run a few errands after.

Our well pump was raised ~5ft. The water is currently discolored. That should clear in a day or two. We should know in a few days if the grit issue is resolved.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. We finally got some much needed rain last night and this morning. 73°, forecast for mid 80's. Rain should end before lunch. Hope to go get another load of logs today, then grandson has VBS program tonight.

Good morning! 69F and sunny, getting warmer again today. I ordered a new banner for the roadside firewood stand. It arrived yesterday so I installed it when I got home last night. 3rd night of VBS after work today and then hopefully enough daylight to make a few firewood bundles. Have a God day!

Chaz is working on the log pile. Cutting to length and moving to barn. He is ready tp take a day off. I suggested he wait for the 80+ day to take off.

One more day of low humidity before it returns tomorrow. Low 60's here now, and clear.

I'm heading to my SIL's this morning, with wooding tools! I'm planning to cut some logs she's had for a few weeks. If I can get a tank of fuel through a saw, I'll be satisfied.
