Think it'll stay? I have to cover mine with things like pallets, old tires, and blocks to get it to stay on with high winds...which seeing how my main stack is basically right above a valley, it see's plenty of wind. I drill holes in the sidewalls of the tires so they don't hold water for skeeters.

Yep. I’ve been using it for a long time. I finally put grommets in and use rubber bungees w/ a couple nails.

Wish I had another piece. It’s time to start looking.

    Slick! :yes::yes:
I just seen someone selling new seconds on FBMP for $1/linear ft near here, they had all different widths, but you had to buy the whole roll, whatever the length...still a decent deal for the sq footage you are getting.
We are getting ready to replace a couple decent sized flat EPDM rooves at work, I told the contractor to cut it in 8-10' wide strips and roll it up, I'd take it all. :)

This seems like a decent deal. 3’x30’ for $25.

Taken from the back side of the main row. From yellow garage back, splits are 4 wide. Rest of this will go in the basement for the upcoming season.

Probably burn this in the fire pit.

Hottest day of the year so far I think, today.
A couple degrees warmer than forecast.
    90ºF/90%
Close to the same forecast for tomorrow.
Contemplating putting in a window A/C.
Cooler weather is forecast for after the weekend.

When I started washing the wife's car I was in the shade but that didn't last long, when I was done everything, the old t-shirt was soaked. We were close to 89 today for a regular temp, when my truck gets washed, I'll pick a cooler day.

Flew back to Vermont today after a business trip to Dallas. Catching up on my nightly chores in the yard here in Southern Vermont I noticed something that I can’t remember seeing in quite some time.
Lightning bugs flickering on and off throughout the the yard.
It brought back a memory of chasing them as a small kid with my cousins and friends out in those Oklahoma summer nights while the adults were inside visiting or on the porch. This would have been in the late 60s/early 70s.

How did that happen? At my place it was still at 86* at 7pm. Once the sun set the temp did drop nicely and I was able to open the window at about 9:00 pm as it had dropped to below the 76* the house was at. With a ceiling fan that was comfortable. But, it is still 74* in the house right now so I have several window fans going to get the air moving and the temp down while it is 63* outside.

Bought my 2018 Explorer July 29, 2021 with 33,570 miles on it. Friday, I took it in for its first service since then at 37,207 miles. The truck's system started telling me a couple of weeks ago that I needed to get the oil changed soon - I imagine because I do mostly short trips of 2-3 miles. The computers to my vehicles used to let me go 5-7k miles when I was commuting 100 miles per day. The main point is that I drove 3,637 miles in 10 months - I really didn't realize how little I drive now when. I used to drive a minimum of 3,600 every two months (if I literally drove only to/from work).

This WFH thing has really worked out well for me.

There was a chance of rain overnight and this morning. I am not sure if it was a fat chance or a slim chance, but it is very dry and no rain in sight. Crops are begging for some rain and some lawns are also not so green any more. Lawn mowers getting some rest.

We got about 14 drops of rain last night. Humid still this morning. Going to put out the sprinkler now… have to save what grass we have.
