Just rebuilt this fried 353 . Put a 50cc , 346 non decomp P&C on it . And , being as the bar was in need of a lot of work ,It was replaced wit a narrow kerf .325 ,light weight Oregon bar .
    I’ve done a 350 this way before . Makes a nice ,light saw . Rit dyed the starter and cylinder covers . 3C0FFEDB-1ACB-4FE2-B55B-7698928EFCFF.jpeg 788B9024-D603-4FD7-AD37-DBBE8CBC0D08.jpeg B72F521B-40FB-4F8B-8E14-6067F7917D02.jpeg 45A0238B-39F6-43F5-BE33-BE620FFE2EA4.jpeg

Love those. I have the all parts with a builder currently but communication completely stopped. Fingers crossed, it’ll probably be one of my most used saws, if and when.

I really like them as well . The last one I did is on loan to a guy that has a muscle disease ,that makes it hard to start the saws he owns . It’s got the purge ,and Texas buttons . So, it’s a 2-3 easy pulls to start . He was cutting with a friend that was running a 290 . He asked to run the 350/346 . He came over to my place asking if I’d do one for him if he can find a donor saw . :D

Gotcha. I use one sometimes downstairs when sharpening. Not in the field...chalk suffices if need be.

How dare you. No man card for chew. Lol.

My go to gadgets are Stihl 2 in 1 sharpeners. They work well for my needs. I gotta get that stump vice though.
