Thanks for reply appreciate it! I am glad it’s working for YOU. I honestly like people that think differently than me as it presents a learning opportunity.

We are different, I definitely would have waited on $17,000 power wall, and put that into garage first with $900 new harbor freight generator.

but that’s ME and doesn’t mean I’m right

I’ve known Tom from dealing with him for my work since 2015. Used to sell him all the hybrids I could push his way. He loves Prius, gets any Honda Insight he can, most other hybrids if they fit his profile. He loves high mileage and bad engines. Gets used engines straight from Japan with low miles, some law there that after a certain amount of time they need to be replaced no matter what. I’m at his place twice a month now and he always, well before they all burnt, has batteries in pieces. They are a dry battery with removable cells that sit inside the case. He claims they are easy to get but if you don’t know what you’re doing a lot if work. Took him quite a while to master them. The cell is about 1 inch roughly thick probably 4x10 guessing in a metal case.

Sounds like "Tom" had a business fire? If he is still in buss. I'd like his name/buss. contact info. I have a old 07 Prius that may need a fresh batt.

I wonder if they could be used for making things like floating docks, barges, seawalls, etc? Or maybe those noise walls along the highway where there are neighborhoods close by? I've never been within a mile of one so I really have no idea on the actual size/shape/construction...

Yes he did, his shop burnt but is a steel building so basically lost some tin and the inside was gutted. American Solartechnics in Stockton Springs Maine. Home - American Solartechnics Cars
I don’t know how much work he’s doing without his shop, he lost pretty much everything in there. He’s still open for sales. I’ll see him probably tomorrow if not Friday.

Come on Dave, comparing today's grant seeking, agenda driven "scientists" seeking BS numbers to satisfy their "grantors" pre requested or determined answers is like comparing an uber driver to Leif Erickson or Christopher Columbus.  A true scientist doesn't hide behind nor is satisfied by a consensus of like minded (by politics, culture, peer pressure, popularity.....) but either proves or disproves his argument.
Too many phoney monitoring stations downtown on a commercial rooftop with nothing but concrete asphalt for miles around, yeah that's accurate. Plenty of fuzzy math compilations skewed into the desired outcome.
How about the wonderful display the "science" just flung all over us for the past 2 years with the kung flu.
Money or control is today's science, political science.

All these “facts” are only proven with use of the new math. Another couple years with the current views 2+2 will equal 17!

So by that line of reasoning all of modern Science is a sham, scientists are corrupt and in collusion with at least half of the politicians to "cook" the data so the scientists can get rich and the politicians can control you.

C'mon man it sounds ludicrous to just type it out let alone live your life by those beliefs.

The idea that scientists put in an enormous amount of time, effort and money and dedicate their life to their research to become a political pawn and "get rich" is ridiculous. I can tell you there is no money in science and know personally scientists who eat, sleep, breath their work. And not all research is funded with strings, my lab had a private family donor give us $5M and said "have at it, do what you can do" just because they had a child die of a disease that we happen to study. You'd have to be a sadist to enjoy the granting process, it's tedious and enormously frustrating to have some great ideas for research that just doesn't get funded. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to pretend that Science is lily white and there is no corruption or bad researchers.

I used Einstein and Darwin as examples because they are familiar. I could have cited some more modern Scientists who are part of the "machine" and base their research on previous work and consensus that have made some extraordinary discoveries and advancements that have no doubt made a direct difference in human life.

Just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean there is some nefarious conspiracy behind it.

Last month my boss was in the hospital for 2 weeks while they tried to break up a blood clot. None of the standard treatments helped. He ended up passing away from it. Last week the second in command here also wound up in the hospital due to a blood clot. He’s still clinging to life for the time being. I’m no expert in statistics but that sounds remarkable to me. I’m done playing along, believing everything I read in “reputable” sources, and giving these people a tiny shred of my trust. “Rare cases” is becoming what became of the “breakthrough cases” terminology. People railing against Big Oil for their big profits as of late are eerily silent when it comes to the pharmaceuticals raking in an unGodly amount of money. With that I’ll shut up on that particular topic and if anyone wants to “set me straight” through a private message, have at it.

eggs are bad for you, eggs are good for you
    good cholesterol , bad cholesterol
how many studies keep contradicting each other
where's the "science" - oh yeah it belongs to whomever paid for the studies and research. So are the "results".

Too much BS and outright lies.
