Well my Dad was in the business world too earlier in his career... started woodworking as a hobby but later went into as a business when the big corporation he worked for went bust..... I might make it sound like he is really getting on, actually he only just turned 70 just his business partner that handled the sales end of the business gave it up a few years back and he was tired of doing it all solo so decided to slow down a bit.

Myself I went the college route and ended up in the business world too.. well engineering... but I did work with him many a summer in HS and college - though looking back I wished I paid more attention and learned more. Doesn't hurt to know some of the trades even if you dont do it for a living I think. If nothing else I know my limits, know what I can DIY and whats best left to a pro ...

And now its my turn to teach my boy :)

Thanks @Stinny I need to get some more wood and fill in the front of that one stack in the second picture that will allow me to bring the tarp up hopefully Ill be able to do that in the next couple months after things settle down and I can get in the woods.

Changed my oil today in the truck. Everything went well till I tipped the small pan with the filter and made a mess. Mowed the lawn too.. Now I drink a beer on a lawn chair in my driveway 1408917809796.jpg .. Life is good! 20140824_120349.jpg 1408917682353.jpg

Yes, it did happen. I saw the doe running down the end of the property but no Campinspecter so I ran down to find him still on his knees wondering what happened. By this time the dogs are going wild trying to chase something that is long gone.

Yeah, I finished up the opener install and have done all but the closing force adjustments. Not bad, even managed to get the gear and motor box up and fastened all by my myself, even with the less than 100% right arm.

The boss has a huge pot full of green 'maters and still more in the garden. Gonna be busy tomorrow as we even have a pile of cucumbers to make into refrigerator sours. I brought 21 regular mouth pint jars up and 6 wide mouth quarts to use.
