anyone ever use Mechanic in a bottle in a 2 stroke motor??

    that is the question? let me know if you have, it takes 1 ounce per gallon of gas, plus the 2 stroke mix as well. Supposed to revitalize the rubber parts in the carb, as well as plastic parts. Say's to run it for 5 min, then let it set for 8 hrs. Anyone tried it? I"m about to.

    No, and I see no point in it, unless maybe carb rebuild kit is no longer available, which is unlikely. It's basically snake oil, and at absolute best, a temporary solution. Carb rebuild kits and fuel lines are inexpensive, and will fix the problem long term.

    Nothing to lose other than a couple dollars. (as precious as those are these days...)

    It might fix the problem. Or you might end up purchasing a carb/kit anyways.

    I think I tried it a couple of times on dead saws and it hasn't worked. If it did, I don't remember it. I do remember the last time, it didn't work! I can see how it is possible that it might work.
