    Design...meh, just like many of the new cars, doesn't trip my trigger, but whatever. I do think they should not have called it a Mustang though...maybe a Clydesdale. :rofl: :lol: :D

    That FJ Cruiser I had was so hard to drive, the wind tossed it all over like a tinker toy. Design matters here, except my boxy blazer is just heavy enough I guess.

    I have the older style trailblazer AKA the turd tanker, it hated wind since the day it came off the lot. It’s an 09, we had an 03 that didn’t have that issue. Don’t follow a tractor trailer too closely you get thrown all over the road.

    On a brighter note (see what I did there?) while I was at walmart the other day, I was surprised to see that they had solar lighting for residential applications.

    Lets see now......at 97 cents each, I wonder just how many it would take to light up the inside of the home?

    Pros:

    very low cost, must have slipped through the administrations sight!
    Save your receipts because you can get that 23% tax credit next year....or whenever.


    Cons:

    having to take them outside every day to recharge.

    Along these lines, I heard today that the Pentagon ( yes the Pentagon ) got a pile of money to open a rare earth mineral mine in Texas & upgrade the Mountain Pass mine in California. I will see if I can dig up the article. I heard it on AgriTalk. They were saying just wait until certain folks hear about this “green “ venture.

    Edit: It’s an extraction facility in Texas funded by the Pentagon. Go to about 6minute mark.

    I really really want solar powered automatic chicken coop door and a solar video camera. They are only good down to 14* (I assume the batteries?). Darn they would have been ideal, but not working on the coldest winter days when I need them most :(

    Do they even go out when it is that cold ? I don't remember mine doing so. But I had to bring some warm water out twice a day and make sure they had food.

    My mother had a 68' convertible Mustang. Traded it in for a Maverick ~ 1971 for a Maverick hatchback. Couple years later got a Mustang II hatchback, silver. Whew had some decent burns on my backside from sitting on that hot dark silver vinyl in the back seats too many times. She put towels back there but we never remembered to put them back when we got out.
