Morning All. Our rain went through last night. we didn't get a lot but I don't know how the other end of the island did. Sunshine this morning peaking through the clouds.
School leaving ceremony tomorrow so everyone is in high drama mode. It will all work out in the end.

Good morning everybody. Sitting here at the docs. Chaz has a appt. He talked to the surgeon yesterday about his knee. Going to have orthoscopic surgery September 1st. The cartridge on both sides of the knee are messed up. Won't know about the tendons till they get in there.
Once he is done here, we are taking a ride to a beef farm. Had to get a new source as the last folks we had retired. So this guy is going to give us a tour.

Morning all. Overcast and drizzly this morning. Not sure what we are going to get. Hopefully dry skies for the afternoon for the car parade of grads.

When Peter stepped out of the boat and walked to Jesus, he did so in faith. Like all of us, he took his eyes off Jesus and looked at the trouble and tempest around him and started to sink. The refrain from the hymn Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus goes through my mind as I tell this story to the children. As we turn our eyes on Jesus, be assured of his love and care for you. He can save you.

Good morning all. About 70 today.
Found the tour of the farm enjoyable time. The beef is black Angus. He does as natural as possible. Everything is grass fed. Well the chicken are bugs as is the turkey.
Has beef, pigs, chicken, turkey. Of sheep also. The yes all had either twins or triplets. Cute little things.

Good morning everyone! No grandson today, so it will be a peaceful Sunday. I'll probably get after some more firewood making.
Yesterday I cut and split some sycamore limbs from the dump. I cut them short, and M2theB's hand-me-down splitter took care of them nicely. I could never have split them by hand, too stringy. But I do like the way it burns.
The delphiniums reached their peak the other day, (shown here) and are now declining. Once they die back, I'll split them and report in fresh soil, to try and repeat this year's success.
Gotta find some local strawberries, too!
