Because I didn't have enough up for the 2021 - 22 heating season that just went by, we burned an extra face cord of hardwood.

We have six face cord covered for this year but I think that I'll cover another two face cord and plan on burning eight. I haven't even c/s/s any of the softwood that's down on our bigger lot I cut on.

It finally stopped raining this morning so I decided it was time that the garage floor got cleaned. I moved the vehicles out and that's when the dry rain started falling, the pollen coming off the trees is crazy.

With a mask on the floor was swept twice and then I took water with a sponge mop to the floor, I'm not sure how many pails of fresh water I used but the wife is happy.

That isn't me in the GIF.

Today was cleaning up three piles of mostly chit that I never got rid of, most of those three piles are gone which made the wife happy. While I was doing that the wife took the dog for a walk after it quit raining, a doe must have her fawn down here because the wife had the doe come up from behind stomping and being real aggressive.

We saw a fawn the other day from inside the garage which is the first for us this year around the house, we usually see 4 to 6 around the house each year.

We moved one wood pile to make room for some more wood piles today. Did a little splitting/stacking after that.

The doe was most likely upset with the dog and not your wife.

I'm not sure what happened to the old picture but two branches that were broke off lodged in an old dead pine came down. The wife wanted it down a few years ago but I refused until the branches came out of it, I guess it's time that it comes down.

Hopefully there's enough good wood left that I can use it inside, if it's really bad I'll burn it outside.

I found the picture of the dead pine with a widowmaker in it that I wouldn't take down two years ago, from the looks of it today the WM came down so I'll get it on the ground.

Another batch of morning maple muffins will be made.

I LOVE maple and she hates it. I just had some maple almond butter right out of the jar for dessert.

This looks like a dead ash I never marked up top, if there's a good way I can fell this without damaging a bunch of maples, I'll get it this summer but if I think it would be better in the fall, I'll just mark it.

buZZsaw BRAD , it was a day we did some spring cleaning inside the house since the pollen is still pretty thick outside, it's almost dinner time so we'll make you hungry with some old pictures.

The wife saw me looking at more food pictures, she was wondering when we had these stuffed shells, 8-28-2019. So she says when are you making them again. :hair: IMG_9533.JPG
