Amy and I love dogs of any breed. Man's and Women's best friends. Just remember, DOG spelled backwards is GOD. Amy had cats too. Me, I don't much care for cats though we have 2 that think I'm the best thing since canned catfood. To me, cats have no redeeming qualities but I'm a live and let live person. All has to do with matrimonial bliss I guess. After 34 years of 'bliss', most of it has worn off. Just keeping each other company now...lol. Don't take that wrong, Amy remains my favorite person and probably the ONLY person that can put up with me. I do have my faults.
I had a dream last night I was at your house, you and the wife had a lot o pet birds and all were out of their cages. I walked into the room and Cheeto came over to me and landed on my shoulder like he knew me
It brings me much pleasure to make this post this evening. Yesterday, I found an ad for some black lab pups that were not astronomically priced. I asked 99 if she wanted to go for a ride to get one and when she found out it was a black lab, she said nope. She has had her heart set on a bernese mountain dog for a few years now. I was about to call the party up to make arrangements to meet and grab a pup and thought I would call an older contact for a bernie. That guy told me he had none available but we continued talking for awhile. Turns out, he did have one male left (9 weeks old) and the party that was interested has not been returning his calls or answering his messages. He said he would reach out to that person once more (actually, it was 2 more attempts yesterday) but once again, they never answered or replied. I told the guy we would be down in the afternoon. It gives me pleasure to introduce "Cooper" to the FHC pets thread! He is a pretty shy fella so far. But, he has begun to follow either of us around in the yard. Last evening, when we finally got back, we were sitting outside feeding the mosquitos and 99 says "Here comes Fred...down the driveway!" Fred is what we named the red fox....Fred Sanford. The older members will understand. She was holding the pup, of course, and Fred came up to within three feet of her. Yeah, she was nervous but Fred was very interested and curious. The pup didn't give a hoot in heck about the fox!
