Good morning everyone! It's been beautiful weather here, sunny, dry, in the 70's. Yesterday my grandson and I split a little more of the birch, and went in the pool for a brief, chilly dip. IMG_20220606_43501.jpg
He's making that face because it was cold!
Chvymn99, nice work on the pool fix. It's all about squeezing as much life out of it as you can. As long as the water is clean, who cares?
Today I'm driving down to MA for various errands. The open house on the condo was Saturday, and the offer deadline is Tuesday. I'm afraid I may need to put in a new kitchen and bath if no offers come in.
    Have a good Monday!

Did you decide what plants to use for your living wall/fence?

Morning All. Rain forecasted again for today. We had a couple of really heavy downpours yesterday. There was a lake on the property next door for a while. Perfect weather to stay in and watch the Blue Jays lose and get some sewing and bookkeeping done.

Off to work today. 5 weeks left until summer break. June seems to be the busiest month of the school year.

    Everyone have a great day.

Geeze. I'm so old I remember when the last day of school was well before Memorial Day; like around 5/20, and that was just a fun day. We used to go to an amusement park on the last day of school, then go home and hop on the tractor or milk cows.

I've planted 3 seedless Concord grape vines, plus there are some wild ones already growing, and some Virginia creeper. I also planted 2 passionflower vines and 2 cobea, both annuals. They are growing, but it's shade most of the day, so they are not as big as they could be. One house is now occupied, we saw a middle-aged lady in the back yard.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Finished up my nite shift, off for 3 days. Got an order for BBQ wood at the local restaurant to deliver today, then maybe split some more. Get things ready to cut more trees on our clearing job.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, today is a present...

    Good morning, members.

One more nice day before a couple of needed rainy days. 60⁰ to start, clear, 45⁰ dp. Heading to 80⁰.

I'm meeting with a fuel oil dealer at my folks house to determine how much HHO is in the tank. The float gauge reads ~1/2. The closing is this coming Monday.

A couple of errands on my way home.

    Be safe

Good morning everyone! No offers yet on the condo, the open house was Saturday, and today is the offer expiration day. I really really hope we don't have to renovate the kitchen and bath in order to sell it. Maybe we do the renovations and rent it for more. In any case, the present tenant is leaving, he bought something else.
Today I've got a checkup, and I'll finish splitting the birch before rain tomorrow.
I've been stuck at 149# for awhile, it's time to get serious. Most of my illicit munching happens in the evening, after wine. So I'm cutting out the wine, and switching to sipping ice water. It worked yesterday.
This is probably as good as it gets, before it gets rained on. IMG_20220607_55515.jpg
    Have a great one!

Good morning! 63F and cloudy, had rain yesterday evening and overnight. Gas went up during the day so I stopped after lunch to fill up. It's sad to think I was relieved to find a station still at $4.89 for regular. Started splitting after dinner last night. Got rained out just before the IBC tote was half full. I made a mad dash for the barn and made some bundles. When the rain quit, I headed to the house and called it a night. Niece has a basketball game tonight and I need to load the truck for a delivery. Have a God day!

Morning All. Gorgeous morning sunrise. Rather a surprise as I thought it was going to rain all week. We have our school leaving ceremony (grad) coming up next weekend so lots to do this week. campinspecter went over and moved firewood to Mom yesterday and then stayed up late to watch the Blue Jays win. Although I am glad my team won, I always feel sorry for the other team when it is such a lopsided score.
Midwinter you have done so great so far. I am glad you found your Achilles heel. Thanks to your inspiring example, I have managed to lose 5# so far although slowly.

    Everyone have a great day.

    Good morning, members

It's actually raining! We're down ~3in ytd. The rain brought muggy air. A good tradeoff! Clearing around noon.

I have my MRI this afternoon. Appt with orthopedic Dr isn't until next Wednesday. I continue to do the suggested strength and flexibility exercises.

I also need to visit our real estate lawyer to deal with some paperwork. The closing on my folks house has been moved up to this Friday. The sooner the better. Less time for anything to derail the sale.

    Be safe
    Be healthy

Good Morning... :coffee: ... Around 1 a.m. had a major thunderstorm line go through. Lots of wind... Work buddy is texting me, I'm guessing they had a microburst in his area....

Good morning everyone! Good luck with your closing, Mike! I have my own good news, we got an acceptable offer for the condo, and we're taking it. I hope the buyer can get his mortgage.
Welcome rain coming down, so today I'll do inside things. I have some cooking to do. nDpnOWW.jpeg
