Can anyone guess what size chain made this ouch. My own fault for not taking the time to walk a couple blocks to grab my gloves before starting :headbang:. Trying to not get snobbish but :picard:.... was asked to cut some branches at work and it became painful clear chainsaw use/maintenance is of no priority there. No scrench, no file, a chain that could maybe cut warm butter-I may have had a minor internal meltdown ;). Finally found a file in the shop that I could use and got to sharpening it and 3/4 of the way through sharpening having no handle on the file, I slipped. Good to know I'm getting them sharp though . Went out and tried to cut and the poulan pro 5020 will run 10 seconds and die. Went through this aggravation for about 5 minutes and said screw it lunch time. Snuck home and got my Stihl. They said I could have the wood and may put me on some more clean-up duty. I'm on the clock getting paid to get my firewood ! Also said on a slower or rain day I can fart around trying to get the company saw to run. What would you try? 20220605_195641.jpg 20220603_154139.jpg

Get a new company saw and that looks like a 3/8 .50 cut.

That’s great that you are getting paid to cut wood on company time.

That knuckle wound looks vaguely familiar…
    It appears to be from a semi-chisel .325” x .063” chain.

I agree with Chud , tell them it’s junk & get a different breed of saw. On your way home grab that one out of the dumpster & tinker with it at home.

Probably needs a carb clean, maybe a new fuel line...might doublecheck the tank vent too, but that usually doesn't make it stall after only 10 seconds
